Keep Cannes before Alicante

This is the smoother order. Reversing the last two stops improves Paris to Alicante to a 2h05 nonstop, but Alicante to Nice has no nonstop flight and Nice to Miami still needs a connection. The chosen order keeps the comfortable city-centre TGV to Cannes, then ends near Amy’s family, with the fastest listed Alicante to Miami routing via Madrid.

Long-haul flightsAmerican and JAL to Tokyo, Thai to Paris, then Iberia and American home. Each uses one stop, with no self-transfer.
Asia flightsThai nonstop from Osaka to Bangkok and Bangkok Airways nonstop to Krabi. BKK is preferred over DMK for the connection quality.
HotelsThe six picks remain the strongest high-end value shortlist: excellent locations, 4.4 to 4.8 ratings, and no resort detour that weakens the daily plan.
Dates16 May to 9 June protects the 31 May Roland-Garros fourth round and 1 June quarter-final while keeping three nights in each Asian base.
